The German Research Foundation (DFG) Heisenberg-Professorship of Psychoneurobiology (2009-14) GZ OL 136/3-2

The Psychoneurobiology comprises the integrative interdisciplinary interface between psyche (emotion, stress, behavior, memory), neuronal correlates (neuroenergetics, functional activation patterns, neurohumoral regulation) and biology (physical manifestation) and their interaction. By human-experimental approach the Heisenberg-Professorship investigates issues at all levels. Within scientific profile of the University of Lübeck, the Psychoneurobiology is an interdisciplinary bridge between psychiatry, internal medicine, and neuroendocrinology.
